About Us
Our Story
Harvest Moon began with a simple idea: to create a place where good food, great drinks and good company could come together.
In August 2024, we got the keys to Harvest Moon, and spent the entire month as a family renovating, painting, decorating and putting our own personal touches into the space.
In September, we finally opened the doors.Two years later, Harvest Moon has grown into so much more than we could have imagined. We’ve become a little community of regulars, friends, local businesses and visitors who have made the café what it is today.
We’re proudly family-run, with Mum, Isabel, alongside co-owner and manager Flynn, at the heart of the café. From the very beginning, we wanted Harvest Moon to feel less like somewhere you simply stop for a coffee, and more like somewhere you can settle in, feel at home and come back to again and again.
Good food, made from scratch
We’re a fully vegan café, but above all, we’re passionate about making food that is simply delicious.
Everything is cooked in-house by our kitchen team, led by Weronika, who brings over five years of experience managing kitchens, alongside her creativity and love for good food.
Working closely with Flynn, our kitchen team creates a changing menu inspired by the seasons, family recipes and whatever ingredients are looking their best.
We don’t use fake meats, unnecessary additives or preservatives. Instead, our food is built around vegetables, grains, beans, herbs, spices and other whole ingredients, showing just how much flavour plant-based cooking can have with all the nutrients needed.
Our menu changes throughout the year because we love making the most of what’s in season and keeping things fresh and exciting.
Great coffee, great drinks
We’re just as passionate about what goes in your cup.
We proudly serve Bird & Wild coffee, a shade-grown coffee brand supporting the RSPB, producing beautifully balanced coffee with incredible flavour.
Our barista-trained team takes pride in making every cup, whether you're sitting in with us or grabbing one to take away.
And yes, oat milk is always included at no extra cost.
We believe choosing a plant-based milk shouldn’t mean compromising on taste, in fact we think a good oat milk can complement and enhance your coffee.
We also have a range of other plant-based milks available.
Alongside our coffee, we serve matcha, homemade chai and an ever-changing selection of speciality drinks. From your morning coffee to an iced Matcha, Hojicha lattes to Ube lattes, everything here is a little different, we love creating drinks that give you another reason to pop in.
Our little community
One of the things we love most about Harvest Moon is the people who walk through our door.
We have regulars from the offices and businesses around St Peter’s Street, local residents who have made us part of their routine, and visitors who discover us for the first time.
Some come for breakfast, some for lunch, some for their daily coffee, and some just come in for a chat.
Our team, Emily, Bella, Sharon and Sophie are a huge part of what makes Harvest Moon feel the way it does.
Together, we work to create a relaxed, friendly space where everyone is welcome. Whether you're vegan, curious about plant-based food, looking for your next favourite coffee spot, or simply fancy somewhere to sit and enjoy yourself, there's always a place for you at Harvest Moon.
